Year 9 Geography
On Friday of Week 2, Year 9 Geography students embarked on an excursion to West Beach, Semaphore, and Outer Harbor.
The focus of their investigation was the human impact on these coastal areas and how spaces are utilised by the community.
The students observed various aspects of human activity, from recreational and economic use to environmental management. Adding a special touch to the day, the Mayor of Port Adelaide Enfield, Claire Boan, joined the group at Semaphore. She shared her vision and future plans for the area, sparking thoughtful discussions among the students about sustainable development and community engagement.
