Year 10 Orienteering
Year 10 Outdoor Education students had a great day orienteering out at Para Wirra Conservation Park, putting their classroom navigation skills to the test in a real-world setting. Throughout the day, students practiced using maps and compasses to navigate the terrain, building confidence and teamwork.
As a highlight, students paired up to complete the full scatter orienteering course in a friendly competition; everyone gave it their best and performed exceptionally well!
In addition to progressing their navigation skills, students also had the opportunity to learn about native flora significant to Aboriginal culture, deepening their understanding of the natural environment. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the day, GO TMC OE!!
