2025 Australian Active Citizenship Convention
On Wednesday, 20 August, seven Year 10 students attended the 2025 Australian Active Citizenship Convention. The event provided significant insights and featured presentations from different members of parliament who shared their experiences in public service.
During the convention, we had the opportunity to speak with Olivia Savvas, the youngest member of parliament, who offered valuable perspectives on her journey to parliamentary service. Attendees also enjoyed a live rap performance that successfully incorporated the collective voices of participants into an engaging piece.
Overall, the Active Citizenship Convention proved to be an outstanding experience, showcasing distinguished political figures and leaders who contributed a wealth of knowledge and insight.
